Child Homelessness in NM. A new report from the US Administration for Children and Families estimates that almost 10,000 NM children under the age of 6 experienced homelessness in 2015. Only 6% of these children received federally funded services, including Head Start. Download the report here.
Where is home visiting available in New Mexico? The Center for Education Policy Research produced an interactive map with details of NM's home visiting programs and the number of home visiting slots available in each county.
Collaborating for Young Children and Families. The Bernalillo County Early Childhood Accountability Project (ECAP) recently published "Our Community Working Together," a list of many collaboratives and coalitions working together to improve outcomes for Bernalillo County children and their families, from pregnancy to age eight.
